"Designing Drainage & Venting Systems - Based on the 2006 IPC 5th Edition"
During this session, we will present the various approaches to venting that are permitted in the 2006 IPC. You will find that these venting provisions offer the installer and designer different paths to achieving an adequately vented system, which could result in cost savings along with ease of installation in different types of construction.
Upon completion of this seminar, participants will be able to:
- Identify the definitions relating to sanitary drains, indirect/special waste and vents
- Explain the materials, design and installation of sanitary drainage piping systems.
- Describe the indirect and special waste systems.
- Define the venting systems.
The goal of this seminar is to provide key information on the design, installation and inspection principles located in Chapter 7 Sanitary Drain, Chapter 8 Indirect/Special Waste, and Chapter 9 Vents of the 2006 IPC.
This course consists of 6 contact hours and earns 0.6 ICC CEUs.
