2014 InMC Design, Installation and Inspection Principles
A training seminar sponsored by the Indiana Association of Building Officials, Inc. a chapter of the International Code Council, Inc.
In conjunction with our annual Fall membership appreciation event, Indiana Association of Building Officials will host a seminar on November 8th and 9th, 2015 to present and discuss 2014 InMC Design, Installation and Inspection Principles. This course will be presented with Indiana amendments. Group activities will take place in the afternoon on Sunday, November 8th, in French Lick and West Baden. This event is a great opportunity for networking while participating in a unique opportunity. Class will be held on Monday, November 9th, beginning at 8:30 in the morning.
Cost:
Member: $150, includes hotel room, meals (Sunday dinner, Monday breakfast and lunch), and the ICC class
Member (class only): $125 includes ICC class and Monday lunch
Non-member: $225, includes hotel room, meals (Sunday dinner, Monday breakfast and lunch), and the ICC class

Class Information:
This seminar highlights key provisions of the 2014 Indiana Mechanical Code (InMC) and provides practice in applying key requirements. It reinforces learning by supplying immediate feedback or clarification. It walks participants through the content outline of the code book, and describes key sections.
Goal: Participants will be able to apply key code sections of the 2014 InMC to aid in its administration and enforcement while performing their jobs.
Objectives: Upon completion of this seminar, participants will be better able to:
- Summarize the purpose and content of each chapter contained in the 2014 InMC.
- Describe the intent and application of major sections of the 2014 InMC.
- Explain the application of the 2014 InMC through inspection, plan review and enforcement.
Instructor: Sam Dardano
Sam has been in the HVAC industry for 47 years. For 10 years he served as the President of the Colorado Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials. He was a Mechanical Plan examiner and the Chief Mechanical Inspector for the City of Boulder, Colorado. He is a past member of the IMC Interpretation Committee and the IMC Code Change Committee. Currently, he teaches entry to advanced level mechanical courses and holds 13 ICC Certifications.
Please register no later than two weeks prior to class date. Registrations received after Thursday, October 26th will not be guaranteed class materials at the time of class.
Cancellation Policy - All cancellations must be received in writing no later than October 26, 2015 to avoid penalty. All late cancellations and no shows will be billed $50. Faxed cancellations must be verified they were received. It is the responsibility of the registrant to make the verification. Emergencies will be dealt with on an individual basis.
